Design originates from two fundamental concepts
1. Life is beautiful combination of positives/negatives, yin/yang, light/dark, male/female, nothing is absolute right or wrong when it comes to life, life is simply amalgamation of various experiences, emotions and your perspective. Two different type of woods are symbolising yin and yang here.

2. Form is derived from two basic shapes circle and square. Circle denoting circle of life, and square representing stability. Considering octagon as nearest possible shape to both (square and circle) has its own aesthetic appeal.
